About The Council
Established in May 2019 the Portuguese Business Council Kenya (PBCK) is a non-profit, business association of companies and individuals from Portugal and Kenya.
PBCK is an organisation that aims to promote and facilitate bilateral trade, investment and business development between Portugal and Kenya.
Membership is open to both companies and individuals involved directly or indirectly in business and other activities between the two countries.
Our Goals and Objectives
Let’s connect and explore ways we can work together to strengthen the Portuguese-Kenyan business community!
To promote a bilateral Portuguese-Kenyan Business Council and enhance the ties between the two countries’ business communities; thus increasing trade and investment between Portugal and Kenya.
To ensure direct exchange of information between the respective communities regarding general economic market developments.
To promote agreements between Portuguese and Kenyan businesses in terms of training, technological know-how, licensing, joint-ventures, as well as implementing practical initiatives aimed at strengthening bilateral economic relations.
To provide a forum to exchange ideas, experience and information, develop contacts and facilitate interaction with people interested in enhancing trade and investment in Portugal and Kenya.
To identify and inform members (and other interested parties) of appropriate sources of information relating to trade and investment opportunities, practices and regulations in Portugal and Kenya.
To provide access to other affiliate Member Councils for the exchange of information and leverage off trade and investment strategies and practices within these territories.
